The Lion’s Den

I want to share the dream I had yesterday morning, September 25, 2015. It is lucid, meaning that I was awake when I was dreaming. It is shamanic, meaning that I was conscious in this altered state of awareness. The dream is also about an earth quake, meaning we experienced the BIG ONE. I say “we” because we are all connected as a global brain that includes our earth body and our light body. S/He Dragon contributes to this consciousness. You, also contribute through your unique light that expresses through your matter. Together we create a vibrating crystal grid that emits brilliant colors and tones.

Here is the dream:

I attend a public event to hear Rob Hopkins (with Transition Network) speak. He is next to a large cart that begins to run into me. He pulls it back to prevent the collision. I feel protected by his subtle presence.

A large golden lion charges me. I shift energies and go into a deep vibrational space. I know I can calm the lion if I stay in this frequency. The lion and I come together. I consciously hold steady. The lion settles down and we sit together. I feel its majestic aura and mane against my body— electrifying.

I am now in the middle of the large auditorium with everyone watching. I am lucid/conscious in the dream and get the impression of gladiator. I hold out my hands to assist the flow of energy. I feel in command of this force moving through me.

From across the large room a wild dog appears and charges me. I stay in that energetic space as the dog licks my face. Another beast attacks this dog from behind. I feel the North and South motion of the attack but stay attuned, centered. Both animals calm down.

I am lucid/conscious and get the impression of the biblical story of Daniel in the lions’ den. I wonder what animal will appear next. Maybe a snake? Can I sustain this calm state with a snake slithering over my body or a cheetah, the fastest animal on earth?

My body starts to pulsate rolling rhythmically side to side, East and West. The horizontal 8 motion increases in height and width. I observe, staying with the wild ride. I roll and roll with intensity. Then…I wake up! I feel clear as if nothing had happened.

What does this dream mean, what is it about? This dream is about earth quaking. Many of us who are consciously healing ourselves and working to heal the planet are connected in an energy grid. We hold energetic space and we hold ground with one another, for one another—for the good of the whole. Going through this rolling motion in subtle dream time releases pressure in gross real time. Our collective work is shamanic and we become increasingly conscious of our spiritual and earthy connection, our oneness.

Why is Rob Hopkins, who lives in the UK, in this dream? It is a spiritual connection and a line is generated between Pacific Cascadia, where I live, and the UK. I consciously hold this beam of white light as it arcs around the planet. Musicians Jan Garrett and JD Martin also came into consciousness yesterday with their song Turning Tide. They live in Colorado so I include that arcing line of white light. We create a virtual grid through our spiritual connections.

This dream inspired me to read the biblical story about Daniel and the lions’ den. I quickly saw that this book and others such as Revelation are stories about visions and thus are shamanic, written in an altered state of consciousness. What a revelation!

My favorite Book of Daniel verses are Chapter 12:2-5:
2. And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
3. And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
4. But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

Dragon Tail

Dragon tail
I wrote S/He Dragon to honor the missing parts of myself that I found after hitting bottom at age 25. These parts are my Sacred Feminine intuition and my Sacred Masculine logic. Finding these inner parts and watching them relate to one another changed me and continues to add enlightenment to my journey—which is why I say that enlightenment is the journey, not the destination.

On Sunday I woke up at 4:30 am thinking about a couple of people and circumstances. A lot was moving reminding me of a robust water wheel. In this flow I became conscious that my logical thoughts held emotion and my emotional feelings held thought. I had not seen this before! These inner parts revealed that they are now moving as one unified expression.

I also saw a silver triangular object that was shiny and “wet” like mercury or quicksilver. I can see that image now, days later.

What does this mean? For me it means that if this merging is happening in my conscious experience it is happening in the larger body of humanity. Why? Because I am not separate. We are one body of energy and matter.

The effects of this merging can be seen in the political fields around the world as people take a stand to express themselves in ways that are for the good of the larger whole. This is a significant shift of consciousness on this planet! This new intelligence includes Feminine feeling and Masculine thinking.

Yes, I am a Seer, a Visionary. I see inside out, through Dragon Eye. I wrap what I see with language and ground it here with the snap of Dragon Tail.

The Heart of Harmony (

There’s a Heart of Harmony we are all longing to tune into.
It’s the direct experience of remembering with great relief, who we really are.
The words suggest a path, the music takes us there.

I met Jan Garrett years ago in Snowmass, Colorado at a John Denver Windstar Symposium. Her songs Gypsy Woman and Out of the Silence continue to be favorites. S/He Dragon hopes to host a house concert with Jan and JD in the future. Enjoy their light-hearted tunes at

How Do You Wear Grief?

Grief comes in many shades and textures and is woven through personal, ancestral and planetary loss. The loss of a loved one can leave one feeling empty. The loss our ancestors faced can leave one feeling helpless. And the loss of our forests, bees, and clean waters can leave one heartbroken.

How do you wear grief? Do you wear it as an undergarment so no one can see? Or do you wear it loudly on your sleeve? Your body gives you clues. Are you listening?

Patricia Lee, author of S/He Dragon, will speak and facilitate conversation regarding Wearing Grief (Chapter 10 in her book) at Vashon Intuitive Arts on Saturday, September 19, 7:00 pm. Book signing will follow the talk.

FREE e-book download cards will be given away to the first three people to sign in.
