Peshastin Pinnacles

WP_20160813_014
The Peshastin Pinnacles are located between Leavenworth and Wenatchee in Eastern Washington. This particular spire was the focus of a recent hike. When I intentionally listened to what the sandstone had to say this poem took shape and my favorite Bible verses followed. Nature never fails to inspire.

Sandstone spire
Rising up out of Earth
Like breaching whale
Frozen in time.

Where was I during this e-motion
Of energy in motion?

The Holy Bible
Job 38:4
Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? Tell me, if you have understanding.

Job 38:31-36
Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the band of Orion?

Canst thou bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons?

Knowest thou the ordinances of heaven? canst thou set the dominion thereof in the earth?

Canst thou lift up thy voice to the clouds, that abundance of waters may cover thee?

Canst thou send lightnings, that they may go, and say unto thee, “Here we are?

Who hath put wisdom in inward parts? or who hath given understanding to the heart?

Wake Up and Slow Down

SriSri image
My new friend, Rachna, introduced me to her teacher, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. His words are meaningful to me since I have slowed down this month with fewer work hours and no commute (yay!). I now see that the more I work the more money I spend and the more I spend the more I need to work. Such an enslaving pattern! I am enjoying slowing down.

Wake Up and Slow Down
By Sri Sri

Often you are in a rush in life. When you are in a rush, you are unable to perceive things properly. This takes the charm, thrill and beauty from your life. You can never be close to the truth when you are in a rush because your perception, observation and expression become distorted.

The rush to enjoy robs the joy from life and only denies the joy and freedom of here and now.

Often you do not event know why you are in a hurry. It almost becomes a biological phenomenon to be in a rush. Wake up and become aware of the rush you are in! Wake up and become aware of the rush in you!

It is ridiculous to be in a rush to slow down. Just being aware of the rush itself will take care of it. Slowing down does not mean being lethargic or procrastinating, as it is easy to get into the extremes of either being in a rush or being lethargic.

Rushing arises out of feverishness, and feverishness arises out of lack, a need to achieve. Dynamism, on the other hand, is an expression of fulfillment.

The golden rule is to be awake, and when you are awake you cannot help but be dynamic.

This moment realize that you are awake.

A Love Attack

2016-07-09 untitled (263)
It felt like a love attack, as my heart cracked open, greeting childhood friends at a class reunion party in Tacoma. For many years I did not attend these gatherings because “I had nothing in common” with people from childhood. Meaning (I can now identify it because I have moved on — yay!) I was in my multi-dimensional dragon cave and not relating to this world very well. That withdrawal began after Archangel Michael visited me and the fiery Kundalini force snapped the back of my neck leaving me paralyzed for three days. That intensity of light/energy rewired my brain and it has taken many years for me to ground back into my body — not as my old self, but as my new self.

After the party I drove the back roads of my childhood, past Collins grade school and friends’ homes, the woods where I kissed my fifth grade boyfriend, and our old house on Canyon Road, now in shambles and being swallowed up by blackberry brambles. I felt like visiting a sister in the area so I stopped to chat around an outdoor fire. A few days later this sister and I spent a day together on a road trip. This was a major shift for us due to my brain/body withdrawal. But, now, my heart had cracked open!

Grounding into my body has been a gradual process and is my firsthand experience of evolution. This is why I state in my book, S/He Dragon ~ How I Found My Wings: “Light shape shifts matter and evolves consciousness.”

(In the background of this photo is George Perry who, along with his wife Andi, take photos and produce videos of our reunion events. As you can see, George has not lost his childlike spirit.)
